Melbourne Trip Day 4 - Soverign Hill

Woke up very early today!! Heading off to Soverign Hill, and i would sorta be leading the way with the GPS! Wahaha.. Need to leave house early today as the drive to Soverign Hill would need around 2hours, the Theme Park closes at 5pm, and also Zhiyang needs to work at the city at around 5pm.Stopped by this information centre near Soverign Hill. Got down with "driver", to get a map of the place, and to enquire about the route. The moment we stepped out of the car, both of us were shivering!! i quickly pulled on my jacket. i was shocked! the place is super cold, with sun and there's no wind blowing. Got a map and find the way ourselves, as there's no one there to serve us.

Reached Soverign Hill at around 12pm, and headed to McDonalds for lunch. The Mcdonalds there is seriously YUMMY! the fries are super crispy, fresh, deep fried till golden brown. Chicken burger is yummy too! the meat is tender, and the lettuce and such are fresh! one prob is its pretty expensive. but i feel that its worth it. XD

After lunch, headed back to our barrack, the place that we would be staying for a night today, place our luggage and barang barangs, Zhiyang left, and we headed to the Theme Park. Its not much of a Theme Park like the others we normally go with Roller Coasters and different different rides. This theme park is more like a place built up to show the older days of Soverign Hill. Its more of a heritage tour kinda thing and not those fun and exciting place. There's plenty of housefies and Horse dung too! Simply because there are horse carriage available to ride on, and the horse simply SHYT while walking. when the wind blew, the stench is seriously TERRIBLE, and the amount of dust that were blew onto us, is hell alot! Shall use pictures to speak this time round.

That's sis with those ladies at the Entrance.

Us, at Soverign Hill with the Horse Carriage

Over at this shop, visitors could take pictures wearing those older days clothes like those ladies at the entrance, and take pictures. Very ex though.

Went for the Gold Pour, where we witness melted gold being poured into a mould, and when cooled, it became a gold bar!

This gold bar is worth $135,000!!
Pretty right?!Redcoat Soldiers

Southern Barracks!
The place that i stayed for the night
After dinner at the communal hall, where everyone who stays there shares the dining area and kitchen, we headed out to enjoy the sunset in the cold weather. took some pics and headed back to our "room" as the weather is getting colder as the night falls. The can of soft drink that i bought do not even condense after being left outside while i was sitting on the rocking chair enjoying the sunset. How great would it be if SG has such weather!

Lights off at around 9pm? cos there's nothing much to do over at that place. No TV, no other entertainment. Booking out at 10am tml. =)
