Melbourne Trip

Woke up at around 6am.. got myself prepared and waited for mum to be ready. Aunt came to fetch us to the airport with my granduncle and around 6.30am. dropped us off, and headed to look for my grandaunt. Checked in, and we decided to head over to the staff canteen at Terminal 1 for coffee and perhaps light breakfast.

Left for the departure gate at around 8am, went to DFS to get cigarettes and head off. The flight that we took is AirAsia. it onli takes about 45mins to reach KL, and we had to wait for about 4-5hours for our next flight to Melbourne. Upon reaching KL, we had to walk down the stairs from the air craft, and walk super duper long to the Arrival Hall to retrieve our luggage. Was glad that we changed the flight to an earlier one. went to the belts, but found out that there's no one there. asked the staffs where is our luggage for our flight, and was informed that its still not here yet, expecting us to wait. Luckily, when he finished his sentance, i saw my luggage coming out, apparently everyone had left, leaving only us.

Went over to the departure hall, which is at the other side of the LCC terminal. waited very long for a seat in Mac, and had breakfast there. took our own sweet time as we need to wait for like 3 hours before the check in counters opens. Queued freaking long like at least 30mins to check in, and when its our turn, the com crashed, and we spend another 20mins waiting for our luggage to be checked in and get our boarding passes. the whole place is freaking hot like a metal container, where u see near sentosa. fans are on but apparently useless, and the whole place is so crowded and dusty. I swore many times that it is the first and my last to step into this airport. its really very BUDGET.

Slacked around outside the toilet, sitting on the metal bars, as there are limited number of chairs available. Time to enter the departure gate or whatsoever.. then my grandaunt's umbrella was told to be TAGGED with the luggage tag before she can enter with it. Then i had to rush back to the stupid counters jus to tag tat umbrella. at the departure gate, its freaking HOT and crowded, and i seriously feel like giving up.

Boarded the air craft, which is supposedly an Airbus, but pathetically, this international flight air craft, the seats are smaller than those that i took from SG to KL earlier. the seats are small, and cant lean back. one good thing is that they have inflight entertainment, and a chat room where u can chat with other passengers. thats the only good thing i can see from this Airbus.

Long story cut short.

Arrived at Melbourne at around 0140 (melbourne time) with about 30 minutes delay. Retrieving luggage there is very difficult. there are so many luggages, and the belt is like a slope, hence luggages are on top and some below. people with HUGE luggages seriously had a hard time. tried to help, but missed it and hurt my fingers. took a cab to sis's fren's apartment. cab fare costs around 50 bucks. had maggi mee for supper and head off to bed.

Boring and Tiring day today.
